| Jennifer Brewer serves as the hospital’s chief executive officer. Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and her master’s degree in healthcare administration from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She has more than seven years experience as a healthcare administrator in acute and post-acute organizations. She brings a strong marketing and business development background to HealthSouth Plano. Jennifer is a recent addition to our hospital, joining the executive team in March 2009. |

| Executive Medical Director | |
| Omar Colon, M.D. is Executive Medical Director of HealthSouth Plano Rehabilitation Hospital. A graduate of Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Dr. Colon completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Association of Academic Physiatrists, Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation, and the North American Spine Society. Dr. Colon has an outpatient practice specializing in the treatment of neurological disorders. |

| A native of Texas, Kyle has been with HealthSouth since 2005. He received his bachelor's degree from Texas Woman’s University and went on to receive his master's degree in physical therapy from Angelo State University. In addition to working in acute rehabilitation, Kyle has worked in outpatient, home health and acute-care settings. |

| Melinda joined the HealthSouth Plano team in August 2010. She was awarded her bachelor's degree in nursing from Louisiana State University. Melinda has a strong background in nursing, marketing and management. |

| Catrina brings more than 16 years of health care management expertise and nearly 20 years of accounting experience to HealthSouth Plano. An East Texas native, she graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She received her master's degree in management from Amberton University. Catrina has also taught continuing education classes for Collin County Community College for several years. |

| Rodney joined HealthSouth Plano in December 2010. He has more than twelve years of experience in maintenance, security, disaster preparedness and construction management. As a Veteran of the United States Air Force, Rodney received extensive training in maintenance, HVAC and security procedures. He also worked with a nationally recognized construction company specializing in Healthcare Facilities. |

| Jennifer has more than eight years experience in the field of human resources, with more than six years experience in the healthcare industry. Jennifer graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in economics and was awarded a master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in healthcare management and organization development. She also holds a Human Resource Professional Certification. |
| Thanh Nguyen, PharmD | |
| Thanh has served as the director of pharmacy at HealthSouth Plano Rehabilitation Hospital since 2006. She has been practicing as a clinical pharmacist for more than 10 years. Thanh joined the Healthsouth Plano team in 2004. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and attended the University Of Texas at Austin where she received a bachelor's degree in biology. In addition, Thanh received her doctorate degree in pharmacy from the University of Houston in 2001. |
| Kris Vitiello | |
| Kris joined HealthSouth Home Health of Plano as the director in 2010. Kris has more than 20 years of home health and hospice experience. Kris received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Dundee in Scotland through a distance learning program focused on evidenced-based principles, nursing research and patient education. She is a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) and has worked as a consultant in that role. Kris has worked with independent as well as hospital-based Joint Commission accredited agencies. |
